In July, Parma generally has very high temperatures and moderate rainfall. July is a summer month. Although early July is a little bit more moderate, anticipate daytime temperatures around 32°C / 90°F, while night temperatures can drop to 20°C / 68°F. On average, it is the warmest month of the year. So be prepared and pack summer clothes. Embrace the warmth, but always stay equipped with your summer essentials to make the most of this toasty month.
Parma in July usually receives moderate rainfall, averaging around 47 mm / 1.9 inches for the month. It's the month with the least rainfall. Whether you're keen on hiking, outdoor festivals, or just enjoying a walk in the park, this month provides a reliably dry backdrop for all your plans. Flying on Milan will be the most straightforward. We recommend that, upon arrival, you rent a car at the airport. We encourage you to carpool, and you can coordinate on the Facebook "Jada Wedding" event page. (We invited you to sign up for this in the RSVP. If it didn't work, feel free to ask us.)
The wedding is in Tabiano, but there's also a lot of beautiful houses, villas and rooms in Parma you can rent. Note that Villa Finetta in Tabiano is about 40-50 minutes from Parma.
If you want to be closer to the wedding venue (and welcome venue), you can stay in Tabiano (40 minutes from Parma). For the folks who only come to the wedding, and not the week of activities, this could be a good option.
There's hotels and resorts in Bagni di Tabiano, which is closest to Villa Finetta (the venue).
You can also stay in the beautiful Castello di Tabiano - more specifically, in the Antico Borgo, the old hamlet. It's pricey, but very pretty, and close to Villa Finetta.
